strengthinkindness[Ever since Donnie had threatened to get his Digimon's egg no matter what, Fluttershy always suspected she had been in danger. And she knew she was no match for him; he was a trained warrior, and there was no way she could ever hope to try and outfight him.
Outsmarting him - a genius in his home world - was also out of the question. But that didn't stop her from making a plan to keep Paolo's egg safe from him...just as Donnie had asked her to, during a brief moment of clarity from the virus that had since then completely taken him over.
The plan itself had been a great risk. But it was the only way she knew to keep the egg safe. And while she hoped beyond hope that the plan would never had to be used, she had a terrible feeling that there would be no avoiding it.
And unfortunately, she was correct. All her suspicions came to a head when Donnie came after her, demanding Paolo's egg back. But no matter how scared she was...she just couldn't let Donnie down. She promised to keep the egg safe, and she would see that through...even at the cost of her life.
Which is exactly what Donnie took.
Hiccup's arrival had been just a moment too late, as Donnie literally stabbed Fluttershy in the back. And as hard as Hiccup tried, he had also been no match up against the ninja, who simply toyed with Hiccup before beating him, spared only to deliver a message to Mikey before Donnie finally disappeared, leaving both teens broken and bloodied.
And while the timely arrival of the Kratt brothers had at least helped Hiccup...there was little any of them could do for Fluttershy.
